Job Title: Spa Delivery/Retail Associate
Position Type: Part Time or Full time
Reports to: Team Lead
Purpose: The Spa Delivery/Retail Sales Associate will always provide excellent customer service to all customers. This position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions while assisting with spa installations, maintenance, repairs and technical troubleshooting. This position is a physically demanding role and requires you to be able to lift over 50lbs daily. You will also make customers feel welcome in our store, help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our products and services, and recommend solutions.
Retail Associate Responsibilities
- Greet and direct customers
- Operate POS system to finalize customer transactions
- Inform customers about discounts and special offers
- Provide accurate product information to customers (i.e., product features, pricing, and after-sales services)
- Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing
- Upsell products and services
- Stay up to date with new products and services
- Assist with returns of merchandise when needed
- Coordinate with other Retail Associates to provide excellent customer service (especially during peak times)
- Ensure shelves are fully stocked, and all products are priced and labeled
- Ensure the store is kept clean and organized by completing daily task lists assigned by the Store Team Lead
- Provide customer feedback to the Store/Greenhouse Team Leads
- Other duties as assigned
Spa Delivery Responsibilities
- Follow the delivery process, including loading, installation and return of materials
- Utilize work order specifications to determine layout and installation procedures
- Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used
- Provide excellent customer service
- Assist with repairs, maintenance, and installation of spa and hot tub equipment
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines when performing work on spa equipment
- Represent the Livingstone Outdoor brand
- Assist with deliveries of various materials, goods, etc.
Qualification & Experience Requirements
· Prior experience in spa or hot tub repair, installation or maintenance, an asset.
· Possess a valid class 5 driver’s license: an asset
· Excellent computer and phone skills (POS Systems, etc.)
· Experience in a retail store environment or similar role
· Some cash handling/counting experience

Physical Conditions:
The duties of the Spa Delivery/Retail Associate are carried out primarily in an outdoor environment.
· Uses hands, arms, and shoulders when using various types of equipment (daily).
· Required to lift over 50lbs on a daily basis
· Ability to walk on uneven ground (occasionally).
· Ability to work in various weather conditions and seasons
· Prolonged standing

The workload and environment of the spa delivery/retail associate position do not generally increase employees' emotional or stress levels.

Compensation
$15.30 - $17.30 per hour
